Safety tips for small appliances

SAN DIEGO – Cal Fire offers these safety tips for personal grooming appliances. Hair dryers, curling irons, hot rollers, make-up mirrors and electric razors must be kept away from combustibles while in use. Never fold or crimp cords or the insulation can be damaged exposing wires that can short or spark. Remember to disconnect after use.
