Tom Logue offers 'old school' customer service in a 'new school' world

When it comes to figuring out the best option for auto, home, or health insurance, the fine print of contracts and policies can be confusing for the consumer. Because it’s easy for an individual or family to be overwhelmed trying to sift through what the best choice is for them, many times they end up paying too much or not getting the type of coverage they really need.

However, Tom Logue (Agent License #0D39521) of State Farm Insurance, has spent a decade providing automobile, life, and home insurance, while providing retirement accounts with the type of security that comes with a well-known name such as State Farm.

Logue has spent 17 years as an insurance provider, and understands that residents of a diverse community like Fallbrook require a variety of insurance options. In order to ensure that his clients receive the right type of insurance that best fits their needs, Logue prides himself on making it his goal to explain the policies thoroughly to his customers.

“I sit down with the customer and explain exactly how their insurance works,” said Logue, who moved to Southern California from New Hampshire. “When I do this, people are more apt to choose our insurance policies over online insurance policies. Most clients end up telling me that they had no idea what their policies really meant, and that no one had taken the time to go over the policies with them before.”

By meeting with potential customers in person, Logue can also dispel any concerns that come from believing popular myths about larger insurance companies. Unlike many other insurance brokers, Logue also makes house calls to discuss insurance with his clients, providing them an opportunity to discuss an important decision in the comfort of their own home.

“One of the common misconceptions about large, well-known insurance companies is that they are more expensive,” said Logue. “In many cases, the opposite is true. We sit down with clients to see what they need. Many times, smaller companies sell people insurance they don’t need. We tailor our insurance policies to our customers’ specific needs, which helps their insurance dollars go a lot further.”

With the current economy, Logue stated it is not uncommon to see individuals cut back on their insurance to meet their limited budget. However, without proper guidance, this can result in disaster, especially if essential insurance is cut.

“If this is the case, I talk to clients to help them choose limits on their insurance,” said Logue. “This is where education comes in. We discuss what the best solution for their circumstances, while considering risk and budget. We built this insurance company on customer service. Because we have done that, we have grown our business through referrals and have excelled.”

While accidents are always unfortunate, Logue believes that having a good insurance provider allows a Fallbrook resident to rest a little easier because they have someone to help them navigate their way through the aftermath.

“When clients have a claim, this is our time to shine,” said Logue. “This lets us show [them] the value of the choice they have made by choosing State Farm.”

Logue’s goal this year is to continue to grow his company, while making sure he maintains a high level of customer service for his clientele.

“Luckily, I’m backed by a great team and a great company,” said Logue.

Tom Logue’s office can be found at 1672 S. Mission Rd., St. D, Fallbrook. For more information on the insurance and financial services he provides, call (760) 451-3268, or email [email protected].
