Mr. Stanton suggests that nothing is lost by believing in God. Dr. Sisel supports creationism and thinks Einstein is a theist. Mr. Bowles is scared of those who “Do not accept an authority higher than themselves.”

I think Mr. Stanton’s suggestion that there is nothing to be lost by believing in a god is a coward’s way out, that Einstein is a pantheist, and that creationism is speculation to justify one’s belief. Mr. Bowles and Dr. Sisel might consider that Einstein wrote, “The idea of a personal god is quite alien to me and seems even naïve,” and “I do not believe in the immortality of the ind...
