FALLBROOK – One-hundred-and-fifty people filled the elaborate Beverly Manor ballroom at the Grand Tradition to listen to author Ann Patchett speak at the Rotary Club of Fallbrook weekly luncheon as part of “Book Week,” a precursor to the Jan. 22 grand opening of the new Fallbrook Library.
Bouncing between personal anecdotes, humor, and the business reality of book publishing, she didn’t disappoint. For 50 minutes, Patchett enthralled the audience of some 70 Rotarians and 80 guests.
