FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club (FVCC) recently made a donation to Fallbrook Youth Baseball (FYB) which is entering its 52nd year of operation and has started a few players who eventually entered the major league ranks.
This organization provides a safe, fun environment for 400-plus kids, ages 4 to 16 to learn the fundamentals of the game in an organized league. FYB is a non-profit organization and its only sources of income are the nominal fees they charge their players and donations from groups like the FVCC. For more information on FYB visit FallbrookYouthBaseball.com.
The Fallbrook Vintage Car Club is preparing to host its 46th consecutive annual vintage car show at Potter Jr. High School over Memorial Day weekend. The club is made up of about 80 social members and meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month at the Fallbrook Woman’s Club on Mission Road.
Visitors are always welcome and there is no admission charge. Following a short business meeting there is always a presentation on a subject of interest to the members. Ownership of a vintage car is not required for membership - only an
appreciation of the culture. More can be learned about the club by visiting FallbrookVintageCarClub.org.
