FALLBROOK – Fallbrook VFW Post 1924 recently held its first re-enlistment ceremony for Sgt. Joshua Wicksell. Sgt. Wicksell has been in the Marine Corps for 10 years and just re-enlisted for an additional three years.
Major Dave Marvin (Ret.), a former enlisted who spent 30 years in the Marine Corps, considered it “an honor and a privilege to be asked by Sgt. Wicksell to administer the oath of re-enlistment.” Both men are members of VFW Post 1924 and many members were in attendance to observe the first re-enlistment in 70 years of the Post’s history.
