Norwegian folktales to be explored

RAINBOW – The Feb. 12 meeting of Hulda Garborg Daughters of Norway Lodge #49 will feature a program on Norwegian folktales and legends presented by Jill Beatty, a member of Anna Kolbjørnsdatter Lodge #46 in San Francisco. Beatty, who helped organize the lodge in 2009, will share stories that express a big part of the cultural heritage in the lives of the Norwegian people.

The program will start at 11 a.m. at the Rainbow Valley Grange hall, 2106 Rainbow Valley Blvd. Anyone interested is welcome to come for the presentation. For more information on the lodge and membership, call
