RMWD looks at rate increases to pay for reservoir covers

On Jan. 25, the Rainbow Municipal Water District (RMWD) board held a discussion on various proposed rate increases and set a date for a public hearing regarding rates and charges for operations and maintenance.

According to RMWD general manager Dave Seymour, the rate increase ranges from an added $4.52 per month for 5/8” meters (from $21.19 to $25.71) all the way up to an extra $96.18 per month for 6” meters (from $450.18 to $546.36). (See chart with this story)
