U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis visits Camp Pendleton

U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis shakes hands with students enrolled in the Veterans In Piping program during her visit to Camp Pendleton, Jan. 19. During the tour of the VIP facility, Solis met with Marines who are currently undergoing training to become welders. The Veterans In Piping Program provides returning Marine Corps veterans with 16 weeks of accelerated welding training. The training is free to veterans who have been placed in construction careers nationwide.
