Christopher Earl Dustrude, 25, is being sought by authorities for failing to register as a sex offender.
Saturday, Feb 5, at about noon, Christopher Earl Dustrude, 25, was arrested by U.S. marshals and went willingly after they were tipped by a woman who saw Dustrude's picture in the newspaper. He was at county mental hospital where he had checked himself in, in the Midway district on Rosecrans in San Diego. The woman had a conversation at the hospital with Dustrude and after she arrived home realized he was wanted by the picture in the paper.
