FALLBROOK – On Jan. 20, the Monserate Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) honored the winners of their annual citizenship award and American History essay contest at a luncheon, which took place at the Vista Valley Country Club.
Demiko Barrett, a senior at Fallbrook High School took top honors in the high school citizenship contest.
