FALLBROOK – At the conclusion of Sunday service on Jan. 23, members of the Hilltop Center for Spiritual Living shared the proceeds from their fall fundraiser, Canto della Luna (Song of the Moon) gala, with Fallbrook Organic Gardens (FOG).
FOG, created in 1995 by the late Jerry Weiss, began at Ivy Continuation High School and expanded to Fallbrook Street School, Live Oak School, William Frazier School, and Potter Junior High School. As a result, students have learned about the life cycle of growing plants and healthy food and, of course, have eaten what they helped to grow.
