Bottom Shelf hosts "Meet the Author

FALLBROOK – On Saturday, Feb. 19, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Bottom Shelf Bookstore will hold its inaugural “Meet the Author” event. Fallbrook resident Mary Dawn Sandlin author of “Welcome to Camp Grandma” will be on hand to sign copies of her humorous but serious look at developing a strong relationship with one’s grandchildren. In this mini “How To” book, she provides examples and anecdotes of various activities, “do’s and don’ts” from her experience with 14 grandchildren.

The Bottom Shelf, operated by Friends of the Fallbrook Library, is now relocated to its new home at 124 S. Mission, at the entrance to the Fallbrook Library. Open Monday through Saturday form 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the bookstore offers gently used books at greatly reduced prices and proceeds benefit the Fallbrook Library. Call (760) 451-9606.
