An American flag cake commemorates the 70th anniversary of VFW Post 1924 in Fallbrook, Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011.
FALLBROOK - Fallbrook Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 1924 celebrated 70 years of honoring veterans and supporting active troops with a casual (and free) spaghetti dinner. Over 120 people attended the festivities. The VFW hall, which is offered for rent to local groups or individuals for special events, was decorated in patriotic red, white, and blue to commemorate the occasion.
