Mineral collector to give talk

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Gem & Mineral Society invites the public to attend its meeting on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. The guest speaker, Francoise Duranleau, will give a presentation on “Collecting Minerals on the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia.”

Duranleau began collecting in 1992 and became a dealer in 1996 because she had an overflow of collected material. She now does six shows a year in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia, and visits the Tucson Show every year.
