Scam comes through our neighborhood, again

Once again our street, Sky Vista Way, was subjected to a neighborhood scam. A white male said he was selling car wax or a house cleaning product. When asked where his car was, he stated he was dropped off by the driver of a van. He had one brochure but would not let any of the homeowners keep it.

One comment that seems to be a consistent sales tactic in these is that the person says a neighborhood resident had bought the product or that he knew so and so and that “there was money to be had in Fallbrook.”
