Caltrans reviewing 76 EIR public comments - Alignment decision expected in spring

The California Department of Transportation is reviewing public comments on the draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the widening of State Route 76 between South Mission Road and Interstate 15 and will likely make a decision on the highway’s alignment this spring, according to information provided during the Caltrans District 11 media day conference Feb. 10.

Caltrans is required to review and respond to all comments submitted during the public review portion of the EIR process.
