FPUD begins search for new GM

Fallbrook Public Utility District (FPUD) launched an executive search last week for a new general manager (GM) since Keith Lewinger, who has held the position for 12 years, informed the district he will retire July 5.

FPUD’s top position has not been one of frequent change, one board member explained.

“We have only had four general managers in 40 years,” said board member Milt Davies. Board president Don McDougal elaborated on what that reflects.

“We have a very solid, stable organization,” said McDougal.
