Film Festival succeeding despite tough economy

FALLBROOK – The Fallbrook Film Factory is in full fundraising mode in preparation for the Fallbrook Film Festival of 2011, scheduled for April 8, 9 and 10. The challenging economy of the past couple years has made financing the festival more challenging than ever.

For Festival Director Adrienne Armstrong Adler, the challenge just demands a little more creativity.

“We’ve been working with past sponsors and some new ones,” Adler said. “We do still have some key and very affordable sponsorship opportunities available. We are grateful for the local businesses that are supporting this year’s festival. Without their help, the festival would not be able to continue.”

Entries in the 2011 Fallbrook Film Festival include films from the United States, Argentina, Spain, Russia, Japan, France, Azerbaijan, India and South Africa. The event will be hosted for the second year by UltraStar Cinemas in Bonsall’s River Village.
