More scams hitting the area

No sooner than the latest subscription of our local newspaper comes out with my letter about the “traveling salesman” than our street, Sky Vista Way, and surrounding areas were approached once again by a person selling magazines to help “the inner cities.”

Around 8 p.m., our house was approached by a gentleman in his 20s with a Jamaican accent/appearance who said he was from New York. He stated he was selling magazines to help the inner cites and hopefully some of the monies would help his daughter out. Once we said we were not interested, he left.
