High school students at Fallbrook Union High School district are developing a taste for philanthropy, thanks to a new club on the school’s campus, Youth in Philanthropy.
Tina Rainey, executive director for the Legacy Endowment Community Foundation, along with Dr. Peter Fellios, an advisor and board member for Legacy, met with students at the high school on Feb. 24 to explain the club. Also in attendance were Jimmy Ayala and Alan Ziegaus from Southwest Strategies, who presented a check of $7,500 to the group.
