Fire Safe Council donates gel kits

FALLBROOK – On Feb. 18, the Fallbrook Fire Safe Council (FFSC) donated 22 homeowner Barricade Fire gel kits to the Rancho Monserate Country Club. FFSC has applied for and received the gel through a grant supplied by Supervisor Bill Horn’s office.

Over the past three years numerous residents have taken advantage of the grant and received the gel for a small donation to the FFSC. In order for anyone to receive the gel they had to improve on their home’s ability to withstand a wildfire.
