While listening to the National Anthem prior to a March 5 varsity baseball game, members of both the Fallbrook High (red) and Temecula Valley (gray) teams could be seen wearing the number four on their jerseys to honor baseball legend Duke Snider. Snider, who passed away Feb. 27, resided in Fallbrook for over 50 years. He spent the majority of his major league career with the Brooklyn (later L.A.) Dodgers.

A special seat was clearly marked at the March 5 varsity baseball game in honor in Duke Snider, who made contributions during his life to the Fallbrook High program.
