Pakistani filmmaker, local arts patron honored by Fallbrook Film Festival

FALLBROOK — Fallbrook Film Festival is pleased to announce two of its 2011 festival award winners for the upcoming event, April 8, 9 and 10, at UltraStar Cinemas at River Village in Bonsall.

“Heal,” a student film from Chapman University made by Pakistani student Mian Adnan Ahmad, has won top honors in the festival’s competition, and Mary Perhacs, executive director of the Fallbrook Art Center, is being recognized as the festival’s 2011 Patron of the Arts.
