Local groups supported by St. John's Thrift Shop

FALLBROOK – St. John’s Thrift Shop recently donated to several local groups, continuing its mission of serving the community through the sale of donated items. The profits from these sales are distributed back into the community through monetary donations to organizations, which are directly involved with the enrichment and support of the citizens of Fallbrook.

The Fallbrook High School baseball team requested and received a donation to help fund this year’s season. The Fallbrook Animal Sanctuary was given a substantial donation for the food and supplies needed for the care of homeless animals. A pledge was made for continued support to the sanctuary which is in search of a permanent place of residence.

The Tribe men’s softball team was also sponsored by St. John’s Thrift Shop for another season. Coach Sunny Vaughn and Assistant Coach Kevin Campbell expressed thanks on behalf of the team members who are young, local military and civilian men, many without families in the area who depend on this activity for recreation and bonding with the community.

The Fallbrook Food Pantry has also received the continued support of St. John’s Thrift Shop.

Anyone wanting to become part of this rewarding experience can call Kathy Campbell, shop manager, at (760) 723-9520 to volunteer.
