Fallbrook High School’s boys swim team began the 2011 season by taking first place at the Cougar Relays meet March 5 at Palomar College.
The Warrior varsity swimmers won four of ten events, and Fallbrook’s boys also took first place at the junior varsity level after winning eight of the eleven JV races. The varsity wins included a meet record in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
“We just had a great showing from all the kids,” said Fallbrook coach Bill Richardson.
The meet was the first for Fallbrook since eleven 2010 seniors graduated.
