FALLBROOK – The Temecula Valley, Hemet and Fallbrook branches of the American Association of University Women attended an inter-branch meeting and luncheon at Menifee Lakes Country Club on March 12.
Forty women attended this event, enjoying salad and carrot cake while listening to the energetic talk and slide show given by Survivor Gabon contestant Gillian Larson. At age 61, she was one of the oldest women to participate. Larson knows no limits, having been a world-traveled adventurer, predominantly as a backpacker. Her inspired message is “Dream it, Believe it, Prepare for it and Do it.” She applied to Survivor for eight years before being chosen. She totally believes in pursuing one’s dreams.
