Hughey, Garcia playing in ASICS league

Two Fallbrook High School field hockey players were invited to participate in the ASICS league in San Diego.

Senior Lauren Hughey, who will spend the next academic season playing college field hockey for Miami of Ohio, and junior Jamie Garcia were selected for the league which includes college players and Olympic hopefuls.

“Just thrilled for the two of them to play with the level of not only college but beyond college,” said Fallbrook coach Kathy Waite.
