Pendleton's Flag Football League ignites competition on base

Hundreds of Camp Pendleton athletes gathered during the opening games of this year’s Pendleton Cup Flag Football League, March 10 at the 14 area softball field.

Camp Pendleton hosts the Pendleton Cup Series to provide service members an opportunity to take part in numerous team sports including softball, basketball, paintball and combat water polo all while competing for a monetary prize for their units’ funds.
