Comedian Gabriel Iglesias comes to Pala May 6

PALA - Gabriel Iglesias, the “fluffy guy in the Hawaiian shirt,” will bring his love of comedy and chocolate cake to the outdoor stage May 6 at Pala Casino Spa & Resort.

Iglesias’ star on the comedy circuit has rocketed since his Comedy Central special, “I’m Not Fat, I’m Fluffy,” aired in late 2009. The San Diego native, who now hails from Long Beach, presents a high-octane show that is a hilarious mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring all his personal issues to life.

The show will take place beginning at 8 p.m. in Pala’s Starlight Theater.
