Walsh's celebrate 65th anniversary

FALLBROOK – Joseph T.P. Walsh and La Vonne F. Phaneuf were married at St. Anne’s in Somerset, Wisc. on April 17, 1946. Both are WWII U.S. Marines; Joseph is a Pearl Harbor survivor and La Vonne served at Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va. Joseph graduated from Seton Hall College, South Orange, N.J. and La Vonne was schooled in St. Paul, Minn.

They are blessed with six children, Kathleen Walsh and Thomas Walsh in Fallbrook; Joan Marie Culver and Mary Adams in Portola Valley, Calif.; Patrick Walsh, retired Air Force, in Prescott, Ariz.; and Christopher in Encinitas; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
