When Aisha Lund was named the 2011 Miss Fallbrook Pageant winner on Saturday, April 16, there were no hard feelings with the other candidates. As a matter of fact, the girls were all happy to see one of their new friends win the award.
“I made a lot of unexpected friends,” said Lund, a 19-year-old Fallbrook High School graduate who works at the Sweet Sicilian bakery, owned by her family. “Anyone could have won and we would have been happy. There were no bitter feelings, and at the end, I was still able to hug everyone.”
