Lerach to speak to Democratic Club

FALLBROOK – Bill Lerach, one of the leading securities lawyers in the United States will speak on “America’s broken retirement plans” at the May 5 meeting of the Fallbrook Democratic Club. The meeting will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Fallbrook Public Utility District, 900 E. Mission Road.

Lerach is perhaps most noted for his record recovery of $7.2 billion dollars for defrauded shareholders in the Enron case. He appeared in the documentary, “Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room.” Lerach has been the subject of much media attention and often comments on economic and political matters and securities and corporate law. The meeting is open to the public.
