Local Girl Scouts join 500 Club

FALLBROOK – Out of the almost 300 Girl Scouts in the Fallbrook/Bonsall area, 20 girls joined the 500 Club, some as young as 6 years old. The 500 Club was created to celebrate Girl Scout cookie sales success for all girls selling more than 500 boxes of cookies.

Operation Thin Mint (OTM) is a program through San Diego-Imperial Council Girl Scouts that allows the girls to collect the cost of a box of cookies and then send the boxes overseas to the military troops.
