Pettersen named All-American varsity equestrian

DALLAS, TEXAS – Southern Methodist University (SMU) equestrian Jordyn Pettersen, a Fallbrook native, has been named to the Varsity Equestrian 2010-11 All-American team.

The junior earned the honor for her impressive season over fences, where she compiled an 11-1 record and six Most Valuable Player honors. Pettersen led the nation in Adjusted VERS, which rates equestrian athlete’s performances during the year.
