Warrior boys lose close track and field meet to Ramona

Fallbrook High School's boys track and field team traveled to Ramona on March 17 for a dual meet against the defending CIF Division II champions before losing by a 69-67 margin.

"It was extremely competitive," said Fallbrook head coach Troy Hamlin.

The final event was the triple jump, in which Ramona's Trevor Dotson set a school record with a distance of 44 feet 9 inches to give Ramona the five first-place points.

"That's quite impressive," said Ramona head coach Allison Stang, who made her debut as the Bulldogs' head coach.

Dotson competed in the triple jump shortly after he was part of Ramon...
