Shirley Ann Monroe

Shirley Ann Monroe went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2011. She was born in Claremont, Ohio on April 23, 1935. She was the daughter of the late John Henry Sheriff and Cora Bell Newman Sheriff, and was the youngest of nine siblings.

Shirley was the first woman in this country to break into the field of electronic sales. She paved the way for all women to follow. She retired from Avnet Electronics after 33 years. For her retirement gift, Shirley received a trip for her and her daughters to visit her family home site in Ireland - a lifelong dream come true.
