Caltrans selects existing alignment for SR 76

The California Department of Transportation announced that the existing alignment along State Route 76 will be used for the widening of the highway from east of South Mission Road to Interstate 15.

The June 2 decision to utilize the northern alignment, which will widen Highway 76 along its existing path, will be incorporated into the final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) which is expected to be released for public comment this fall.
