The letter by Directors McDougal and Davies was obviously an effort to marginalize Director McPhee.

I would like to remind the Board that Mr. McPhee was elected overwhelmingly over an incumbent who many constituents thought to be part of the “good old boys club.” Archie McPhee is representing those of us who are the rate payers and we hired him through popular vote.

If state law does indeed prohibit the adjustment of rates for families or the elderly who live on fixed or low income, it needs to be changed; and the sooner the better.
