Not only did Fallbrook High School’s boys swim team win the Avocado East League meet along with the league championship May 13 at Palomar College, but the Warriors took first place in six of the 12 events.
“The boys top to bottom swam really, really well,” said Fallbrook coach Bill Richardson.
The league championship is based on a combination of teams’ records in dual meets and the teams’ positions at the league meet. Fallbrook was 5-0 in league dual meets, which was part of an overall 8-0 dual meet record, before taking first place at the league meet to secure the Avocado East League champion...
