Veronica, “Boots” Bailey passed away at home on her 81st birthday on June 12, 2011. She had a long and valiant fight against cancer.
Boots was a Fallbrook resident for 54 years. She was a registered nurse and worked for Fallbrook Hospital in the OB ward.
Boots enjoyed family first, followed closely by spending quality time at the beach. She traveled the United States with her husband, painted ceramics, volunteered at St. Peter’s and administered to the homebound. Holding babies brought the greatest joy to her.
