Learn about growing rare fruits

OCEANSIDE – On Friday, June 17, at 7 p.m., the California Rare Fruit Growers, North San Diego County Chapter will present a free evening event featuring Dr. Andy Hudson, ISA certified arborist, biologist, agronomist and Ph.D., as he shares the secrets of summer pruning and its effect on fruit production and the overall health of trees.

Hudson’s presentation will answer the audience’s following summer pruning questions: why to do it, how to do it, when to do it, what kind of trees this works with, and more.
