VFW hosts luncheon for Pearl Harbor survivors

FALLBROOK - The men’s and ladies auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1924 recently hosted a luncheon for the Pearl Harbor Survivor’s Association Chapter 31 and their family members.

There were four survivors in attendance, all over 90 years old. New officers were introduced and a raffle was held.

Ladies auxiliary president, Anne Richter, said, “It was an honor to serve these fine men a delicious lunch to show our appreciation for their service to our country.”...
