Re: Cemetery maintenance a disappointment [Letter, Village News, 6/2/2011]

I totally agree with the letter to the editor written by Mary Miner regarding the poor maintenance of the cemetery.

I was born and raised here in Fallbrook. The house and property closest to cemetery was my grandparents’ ranch. We visit quite often due to my family members being buried there – Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt, Dad, Mom, Stepmother, brother, and our two beautiful sons, Justin (Nov. 2, 2009) and Daniel (Sept. 13, 2010).

My husband planted grass seed on their graves; it seemed that no one could get grass to grow. It was so very sad to see dirt when it should have been green long ago....
