Christ the King kids club does community service

FALLBROOK – The Christ the King Lutheran Church Kids Club group finished out the school year with a community service project – picking up trash at both the Pico Promenade walkway and at Los Jilgueros Preserve. Since the Kids Club group frequents these two Fallbrook locations for after school activities, they decided to lend a hand to keep them clean. The fourteen students, from grades three through six, and their leaders collected multiple bags of trash from both the promenade and the preserve. Organizers said the children “had a great time and were so grateful to be able to contribute to these public spaces.”
