Shirley Elaine McGuire

Shirley Elaine McGuire, born to Frederick and Gabrielle Duerrhammer, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 17, 2011. She was born Nov. 1, 1939 and raised in San Diego. She graduated from Hoover High School in 1957.

She married Lcpl. Roscoe A. McGuire, USMC on Nov. 4, 1961. In the beginning of their marriage, she and Roscoe lived in the Philippines where he was stationed at Sangley Point. There she loved to shop and explore the beautiful island. They moved to Fallbrook, Calif. in 1964.
