FALLBROOK – Local real estate professionals Al, Vicky and Brett Bartlett, who comprise Team Bartlett, say, “Now is literally the best time in recorded history to buy a house in America.”

The Bartletts cite their claim based on the writings of Dr. Steve Sjuggerud, author of “True Wealth,” one of the top five worldwide financial newsletters.

“Right now, today, US real estate is the most affordable it’s ever been. Ever. When I say ‘affordable,’ I am looking at three things: house prices, mortgage rates, and incomes,” Sjuggerud wrote June 1, 2011 on his website, http://www.dailywealth.com.

“Dr. Sjuggerud is looking at the numbers with the Affordability Index near 200, the median family has 200% of the income necessary to buy the median home,” explained the Bartletts.

Regarding the housing market, Sjuggerud added, “Hope is gone. Everyone thinks housing is hopeless. That is when a Bear Market ends and a new Bull Market begins. The story is simple: house prices have fallen more than ever… and mortgage rates are lower than ever. If you can buy a house now, go for it.”

Team Bartlett agreed with Sjuggerud, stating they have seen that the investors are out and looking to buy.

“We’re seeing an increase in both the number of buyers out looking and the number of homeowners looking to make a change,” said Brett Bartlett.

“The low mortgage rates and abundant inventory are really helping,” added Al Bartlett.

Team Bartlett is not the only one to agree with Sjuggerud.
