FALLBROOK - The Fallbrook Beautification Alliance (FBA) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2011 Outstanding Landscape contest. Five individual landscapes, representing five different property types in and around Fallbrook were presented with awards last week. Winners in each category received a ticket to the FBA’s seventh annual July 4th celebration and fireworks event, held at the Grand Tradition, along with a certificate commemorating their award. Winners will be recognized at the July 4th event.
“We were delighted to have quite an increase in nominations this year over past years, which made for difficult judging,” said Anne Ondraka, award chair. “The event is growing and we expect to have an even greater number of nominations in the upcoming years.
Ondraka said community members are encouraged to take the opportunity to look at these outstanding demonstrations of creative and beautiful landscaping. Each landscape or garden is viewable from the street, and has been identified with an FBA Outstanding Landscape award sign.
“On behalf of the FBA, a big thank you goes out to the people of Fallbrook who maintain or improve their properties and go the extra mile to help beautify our community, said Ondraka.
