The Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) had been scheduled to consider a renewal of the Fallbrook Public Utility District’s (FPUD) waste discharge permit for FPUD’s wastewater treatment plant during the RWQCB’s June 8 meeting, but the RWQCB continued the hearing in an attempt to resolve FPUD’s concerns about some of the provisions.
A target date of Sept. 14 has been set for the rescheduled hearing, although that is contingent upon the results of discussion between the staff and counsel of FPUD and the RWQCB.
