John "Jack" B. Haynes

John “Jack” B. Haynes, 81, a longtime resident of Fallbrook/Bonsall passed away Sun., June 19, 2011 in Oceanside, Calif. after a long illness. He was born April 18, 1930 in Eads, Colorado to John and Florence Haynes. He was raised on a ranch and his love of horses began at age four with his first pony named Patches.

He began his career as a Thoroughbred race horse trainer in 1971 at San Luis Rey Downs. He was a dedicated and hard-working horseman and always dreamed of having a horse in the Kentucky Derby. He had many winners over the years on the Southern California racing circuit and his fami...
